Full power Tracer 7 in three hot colours
The new Tracer 7 has started to arrive in Australia
and is available to order now. Tracer 7 is the
ultimate middleweight for riders who want
sport bike excitement combined with long-range
versatility and urban flexibility.
This model was available in Australia a few years
ago with a LAMs engine but this latest version is
new with many updated features and HO (High
Output) only - so suits the more experienced
rider who appreciates its combination of light
weight chassis and strong power delivery from
the 689cc 270-degree twin.
Dual LED headlights and modern bodywork
give the Tracer 7 a dynamic and sporty look that
sets it apart from other bikes in the category.
And there’s a wide range of Genuine Yamaha
Accessories - including top case and panniers -
that provide personalisation solutions.
TFT meter with smartphone connectivity
Tracer 7 has the new 5-inch full-colour TFT display
that provides a choice of two different screen
themes. The Sport Theme is a more modern
looking layout with a bar-type tachometer at
the top and digital speedo and gear selection
readouts – while the Touring Theme has a
more conventional circular analogue-style
tachometer on the right of the screen and digital
speedometer on the left.
Smartphone connectivity with MyRide app
By downloading Yamaha’s free MyRide app to
their smartphone, riders can connect with the
communication control unit via Bluetooth®
and view incoming call, email and message
notifications on the new TFT meter.
The system can also notify the rider of any
technical issue that may be detected on the
Tracer 7 and can transmit a notification via email
to a motorcycle dealer or any other contact that
has been designated by the rider.
MyRide app also offers many other useful
functions including monitoring all key parameters
of the bike, tracking the route taken, as well as
recording the distance covered, acceleration, top
speed, lean angle and much more.
